Strengthens KPEX Company with New HP Indigo 5000
ST. LOUIS, July 25, 2006 — Kohler
Print Group announced today the addition of a new Hewlett-Packard
Indigo 5000 Press, strengthening the ability of its affiliated
KPEX unit to provide digital marketing solutions.
“The new HP Indigo assures exact
redundancy and continued high quality for all of our digital
marketing campaigns,” said Betsey Burnett, president
of KPEX. “It is another important step in the evolution
of KPEX to deliver one-to-one marketing.”
The six-color HP Indigo, which will come
online this month, makes Kohler the only company in Missouri
and one of the few in the Midwest with two full-capacity HP
Indigo 5000’s.
“The HP Indigo is the closest thing
in the marketplace to conventional offset printing,” said
Kevin Kohler, president and CEO of Kohler Print Group. “It
is an important indicator of our commitment to quality.”
The HP Indigo 5000 brings with it several
innovations in digital printing, including HP’s patented
IndiChrome printing process for an expanded color range and
PANTONE® color matching.
